SYC Forum

The SYC Forum meets for lunch on the first Thursday of each month.  A fall/winter/spring schedule highlights a speaker program featuring area organizations and their activities, along with some of our own club members and their life stories/travels .  Lunch starts at noon.  The speaker begins at 12:30 and is over by 1:30 or earlier.  Come join us for a great lunch and interesting speakers, while you are enjoying the company of your fellow SYC Club Members.

Our upcoming meetings are: 

The SYC Forum is back, with our first post summer presentation on Thursday, October 7. Our speaker will be Florida Fish & Wildlife Officer, Audry Zahn. A familiar face to club boaters, Officer Zahn operates from the club floating dock. An interesting presentation is planned which will include subjects ranging from the effects of last year's extreme cold on wildlife, to what actually is a "derelict", to enforcement from the perspective of the person in the boat with the blue flashing light. Having logged twenty six years in her profession, Officer Zahn will certainly be of interest to all of us with boating and ecology interests in the area. Social gathering at 11:30, lunch at 12:00.
